An experienced piano instructor

From 2008, she started teaching piano students in China and the USA. As a doctoral piano student and piano instructor, She spent a large amount of time researching a series of music education books to make her own professional piano teaching system and approach. At the same time, She keeps learning and playing more music from the Baroque period to the contemporary period which expanded her repertoire. She gained a lot of valuable practice experience from her abundant repertoire.

Based on different student levels, she designed a specific teaching system for the beginner as well as advanced piano students which inspire students to have more interest and passion for piano learning. She is not only familiar with teaching Nancy Faber, John Thompson’s Modern Course for the piano, Suzuki, Beyer, Czerny op.299,849,599, etc., but also good at teaching advanced music from Baroque, Classical, Romanticism, and Impressionism, etc. Under her guidance, those students under different levels are able to play both solo and chamber recitals in public during short-term study among which, the first student of her was able to give the complete solo recital at 4 years old. Mastering piano performance skills helped them have a deep understanding of music and gave them an opportunity to communicate and share music with other people. In addition, performing piano in public also built up their confidence and equipped them with useful strength in their future life.
